this girl on my facebook feed has been posting statuses for 8 hours straight all today begging for someone to kill a spider in her bathroom and having several breakdowns in the middle and ranting about how she has no true friends because no one would kill it only to realize that it was a piece of hair and i’m still laughing

fangirl challenge : [2/15] female characters - Winifred Burkle
“I’m not the damsel in distress. I’m not some case. I have to work this. I lived in a cave for five years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I’m not gonna be cut down by some monster flu. I’m better than that.”

It is a part of mankind to play games. We played in the Stone Age. We played in Roman times. It’s an escape from the everyday grind. Every day we work hard and we make mistakes and we are punished for those mistakes. Games take us to another role where you can make mistakes and you don’t get punished for them. You can always start another game.

does anyone else see “omg” and not even think “oh my god” anymore like i swear it’s just lost its ability to be an abbreviation and become a completely separate entity expressing astonishment
